Intro to Screen Printing

​Join me for a fun day of exploring screen printing techniques on textiles.

Discover the excitement of screen printing and learn to print on textiles using nature-inspired stencils to create botanical tea towels and calico bags.​

This practical workshop will give you the opportunity to explore and experiment in a relaxed and fun environment and is suitable for beginners. Delicious morning tea included plus all materials and equipment supplied.

Exploring printing techniques on textiles with Deborah Devaal at the Royal National Park

The day starts with an inspirational short guided tour through the bush surrounding the visitor centre. We then take that inspiration to get creative and discover the excitement of printing on textiles.

This practical workshop will give you the opportunity to explore and experiment printing on a selection of textiles in a stunning environment and is suitable for beginners. Delicious morning tea and a gourmet lunch are included and provided by Audley Dance hall restaurant.

All materials and equipment for this workshop are supplied.

Kids Screen Printing workshop

Ages 8+

In this workshop, kids will learn the art of screen printing under the guidance of Deborah Devaal. Learn how to use stencils and screens and beautiful coloured inks to print on fabric.

Kids will print on and take home their own printed tote bag. No experience is necessary.

Wear old clothes that can get messy - aprons will be provided.

All materials and equipment are supplied for the class. morning tea is included.

Advanced Screen Printing 

In this class, I will help you create your own designs and you will be learning to repeat print on larger pieces of fabric.

This class is great for people who have a project in mind that they would like help in achieving. Delicious morning tea included and equipment supplied.

Silk Screen making

Make your own screen printing screens to take home and learn to print with them on the day.

In this practical class, you will be making your own wooden screen covered in printing mesh, a squeegee will be included so you will be ready to try out your screen straight away. The afternoon will be spend printing on textiles.  Delicious morning tea included and all equipment supplied.

Colour mixing

Learn to mix and create your own bespoke ink colours for your printing projects. In this class, we will explore colour theory and experiment in making your own colour recipes to create the perfect colour screen printing inks for you to take home
